How It All Began

Our friendship began in 2008 at California High School in Economics Class. Jesusita sat in front of Leonardo and even though there was a teacher to pay attention to - a terrible one, all they would do was talk and joke around.

We’d have friend dates at the La Mirada Dollar Theatre, would often go to In-n-Out, walk around parks, or spend hours chit chatting and driving around Whittier. Our friendship continued and we were in each others lives for years thereafter.

13 years later we reconnected with the intention to rekindle our long lost high school friendship. The universe had other plans as our relationship and feelings for each other began to grow stronger than we thought was possible. It wasn’t until then that we confessed that we secretly had crushes on each other back in 2008 in Economics Class and on our “Friend Dates”.

And The Rest Is History

Little did they know, that on September 30, 2023, Leonardo would get down on one knee under the stars of Joshua Tree, and Jesusita would say Yes!
